Drake's legal background allows the firm to bring a Swiss Army knife of skills to the table, spanning criminal defense, family, juvenile, dependency law, and contractual consulting. Prior to becoming an attorney, he served as a trusted case manager and litigation paralegal in intense indigent defense matters. His legal career has been built around supporting high-stakes litigation often at the darkest times in people's lives. Despite the trials, Drake thrives where complexity meets cause, he has comfortably been the sole client-facing representative on sensitive cases involving investigations, custody, wiretaps, confidentiality challenges, and federal criminal exposure. Drake also previously supported environmental consulting initiatives, assisting with CEQA compliance and impact mitigation projects across California, experience that informs his strong foundation in regulatory law.

As an undergrad he earned his Bachelor of Arts from The College of Wooster, where he honed his critical and ethical reasoning and completed an Independent Study thesis regarding collective associations, altruism, and interdisciplinary epistemology. He later earned his Juris Doctor from the California Desert Trial Academy, graduating with a focus on federal and constitutional law.

Beyond the courtroom, Drake is a kickboxer, hiker, and passionate creative. His hobbies include philosophy, 3D printing, graphic design, and photography. He also moonlights as a Tabletop gaming and DND master—because even attorneys need a little magic.
